From the Airport
The Francisco Sa’ Carneiro Airport is 14 km from the city centre. It takes about half hour from the airport to the centre by car. The Aerobus, an airport shuttle service, links the airport with the centre stopping at the main hotels: buses run every 30 minutes from 7.30 to 19.00. There is also an urban bus connection, which is cheaper than the airbus but it takes twice as long.
Taxis are 6 times more expensive than the airbus, but are an easier option and can be a good option with two or three people sharing.

Moving around Porto

There are 78 lines of trams and buses covering the city

A metropolitan light rail service is in construction and will have 5 lines when is completed. At the moment only some of the suburban areas are covered.

Trains
Long distance trains stop at the station located 2 km from the city Estaçao de Campanha, which is connected by shuttle trains with the central station of Sao Bento. Estaçao Sao Bento is the arrival and departure point of all regional trains
